Beyond preparing you for social work licensure,* the BSW curriculum allows you to pursue additional certification in Violence Prevention and Intervention (VPI). Work to address poverty, exploitation, and abuse at the local and systemic level.
Prepare to sit for the LSW exam.
Designed for those with or without academic and career experience as a social worker, the 100% online, CSWE-accredited MSW program builds your career in social service leadership and advanced direct practice. This Hispanic-focused curriculum focuses on social work across the life span, preparing you for social service leadership and advanced direct practice for a variety of clients, from young children to elderly adults.
The 30-hour Advanced Standing Program is for students with a BSW from a CSWE-accredited program. The 57-credit Foundation MSW Program is for those with an undergraduate degree in another field.
Prepare to sit for the LSW exam.
OLLU offers a dual Dual Master of Social Work/Master of Business Administration (MSW/MBA) program designed for students with a BSW from a CSWE-accredited program interested in pursuing leadership, administrative, and management positions. The curriculum combines advanced social work topics with essential business skill development in marketing, management, finance, and more. The dual program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, so you earn degrees recognized nationally and globally for academic rigor and career preparation.
Students pursuing the dual MSW/MBA program complete 9 fewer credits than required for OLLU’s full MBA program. This streamlined curriculum allows you to earn two valuable credentials at once.
Prepare for Healthcare Leadership Roles in Social Work.
Designed for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree in social work, our 100% online, CSWE-accredited MSW with a Certificate in Business Essentials for Healthcare Professionals (BEHP) helps current social workers prepare to take on leadership, administrative, and management roles in their chosen area of specialization while mastering the essentials of health care administration.
The certificate requires a bachelor’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program and completion of 45-credit hours of coursework. Students will complete fieldwork and graduate fully prepared to sit for the LSW exam.
